Rust Preventives

We produce water based and oil based rust preventive products which act as temporary prevention of the machinery from rust. Oil based rust preventives are used for long term protection of ferrous and non ferrous machinery components.
For water based rust preventive solutions, we can offer rust protection 30- 60 days
For Oil/ solvent based rust preventive , we offer rust protection on parts uptill 2 years depending on customer requirements.
All the above products pass salt spary and humidity cabinet test per the IS standards.

It is a standard practice in the machine shop to protect machined components from corrosion by applying conventional Rust Preventive oils.

These oily components are necessarily to be cleaned with solvents before it goes to the assembly.  This method adds an additional step.This problem is overcome by using ‘POLYANTICORR’( READY TO USE ) a water based, temporary rust preventing medium.

HOW TO USE

• The machined components are to be dipped in  solution of ‘POLYANTICORR’( READY TO USE ) without blowing air, the components are left as they are.  The water will evaporate leaving behind a thin, invisible film of anticorrosive material.  Such components can be used by simply wiping with cotton/cloth.
• It is recommended to use rubber gloves while handling the jobs and during transportation the jobs should be covered with a plastic sheet so that the invisible protective film  of Polyanticorr ( READY TO USE ) on the  jobs will remain undisturbed.

• POLYRUSP is a rust preventive oil for the protection of various ferrous as well as non-ferrous components which are ready to be despatched for final assembly.
• It is non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-polluting and has excellent anti-corrosive & high lubricity additives.
• It provides an excellent protection to ferrous and  non-ferrous components.
• Once the machined component is applied with POLYRUSP, immediate action of POLYRUSP of protective film formation starts and rest of the care is taken by this rust preventive oil.
• In ordinary industrial atmosphere, the oiled components will remain rust free even for more than twelve months.

APPLICATIONS

POLYRUSP is very much useful for machined ferrous and non-ferrous components like crankshafts, fly wheels, connecting rods, etc.

METHOD OF APPLICATIONS

The machined components are first cleaned by rubbing the components with emery paper and ensure that the component is 100% rust free. The rust free components are dipped in POLYRUSP OIL or the oil can be applied with brush to components. These components are ready for packing.

• It is non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-polluting and has excellent     anti-    corrosive additives.
• It provides an excellent protection to ferrous and non-ferrous components.
• Once the machined component is applied with POLYRUSP DW, immediate action of POLYRUSP DW of protective film formation starts and rest of the care is taken by this rust preventive layer.
• In ordinary industrial atmosphere, the treated components will remain rust free for 6 months to a year.

APPLICATIONS

POLYRUSP DW is very much useful for machined ferrous and non-ferrous components like crankshafts, fly wheels, connecting rods, etc.

METHOD OF APPLICATIONS

The machined components are directly dipped (spray or brush) into POLYRUSP DW and taken out. The water from the components settles at the bottom and the film formation takes place. The components not having any water can also be dipped to get rust preventive coating (shot blasted castings) .These components are ready for packing. Here there is no need to packing the product in VCI paper etc.
